"Alexa, play Changes by David Bowie.."

We're making some pretty big changes here at grey + clay.

As many of you already know, I lost all access to my grey + clay social media accounts, which hasn’t been easy. It’s left me feeling defeated but I am also trying to look at it with a positive mindset and use this time to reflect on where this business fits into my life these days.

While looking at how grey + clay has been running for the past couple of years, I kept coming back to one specific part of the process that causes me the most stress and frustration. And that is operating an online store and packing/shipping orders. For some reason, this task has become so incredibly daunting for me and I will completely avoid it and procrastinate until the very last minute. That’s not how I want to operate. It’s just one more cause for anxiety.

With that being said, I’ve decided I will be closing my online shop. I understand what this means for my out of town/state customers and I am sooooo sorry. This decision did not come easily, but I do hope you understand and continue to support grey + clay in other ways.

Moving forward, I will be focusing on keeping our current stockists (The Homestead Boutique & The Tiny Bookshelf) loaded up with new things as I make them. What I am most excited for is polymer clay workshops at The Tiny Bookshelf! If you are out of state/town and have a favorite local shop that may be interested in carrying our earrings, put a bug in their ear! We are always interested in new wholesalers!

This seems like a manageable shift for me in this stage of our lives and I hope you continue to follow along with us!

Our last website drop will be October 18th and our website will be closing down October 22nd!
